According to reports, the actress Thelma Dorantes passed away last Wednesday, April 10, at the age of 76.

The news was confirmed by the journalist Juan José ‘Pepillo’ Origel through social media in a heartfelt message.

Through his official Instagram account, the host also shared a photo of the renowned actress along with a brief statement.

«I’ve just been informed that theater actress Thelma Dorantes recently passed away. The cause is still unknown. Rest in Peace,» the communicator posted.

Meanwhile, Maxine Woodside, the ‘Queen of Radio,’ shared on her Instagram profile: «Unfortunately, the passing of actress Thelma Dorantes has been reported. Rest in peace.»

According to ‘Radio Fórmula,’ Thelma Dorantes was born in Mexico City (CDMX) on September 30, 1950.
